Who provides PromptByte
“PromptByte” in these terms means this deployment of the PromptByte application, operated by Operator must confirm: the operator's name has not been provided yet. (“the operator”). By browsing you accept these terms; by signing in and publishing you additionally accept the community guidelines.
Acceptable use
You may read, search, copy and share public content with or without an account. You may not:
- publish content that the community guidelines prohibit (spam, harassment, privacy violations, unlawful content, misrepresented outputs);
- try to bypass rate limits, upload restrictions, visibility rules or other access controls, or use automated tools to overload the service;
- access, collect or attempt to access other members' private data (drafts, bookmarks, collections, notifications, email addresses);
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
- use the service to build a competing dataset from members' content in bulk in a way that ignores their withdrawals.
Rate limits on drafts, publications, results, comments, votes, reports, uploads and exports are enforced by the database and may change to keep the service usable.
Your content and the licence you grant
You keep whatever rights you hold in the prompts, results, images and comments you publish. There is no transfer of ownership.
When you publish, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:
- store, reproduce and display the content publicly within PromptByte, including on feeds, search results, category, model and profile pages;
- make it available for reading, copying and remixing by other visitors through PromptByte's features (copy controls, variable filling, remixes that keep a link to the original);
- show titles, summaries and public identifiers in page metadata, text-only social previews and the sitemap; and
- create derived technical representations needed to run the service (search indexes, image variants, previews).
Other members receive the right to view, copy and adapt your public content within PromptByte's features. Attribution to your username stays attached to the original and to remixes.
Withdrawing or deleting content ends new public display immediately. It does not recall copies that other people made while the content was public, and cached copies held by search engines or social networks may persist for a time outside PromptByte's control.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to publish what you share and that it follows the guidelines. You remain responsible for your content.
Results are self-reported, without warranty
Results on PromptByte are uploaded by members and labeled with the model they say produced them. PromptByte does not run models, does not verify results and does not check that an output is accurate, safe, original or fit for any purpose.
Prompts and outputs are provided “as is”. Evaluate them yourself before relying on them, especially for medical, legal, financial, security or safety-related use. Model and provider names identify what a contributor reported; they do not imply endorsement by or affiliation with those providers.
Moderation
The operator's moderators may hide any published prompt, result or comment, and restore it, for a stated reason recorded in an audit log, as described in the guidelines. Moderation never edits your content in place. The operator is not obliged to review content before it is published and does not guarantee that every violation is found.
Members can report content; the operator decides on reports at its discretion and does not promise a response time.
Ending your account
- By you. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. The privacy policy describes exactly what is removed and when.
- By the operator. Administrators may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and may reactivate it. While suspended you can still sign in, read public content, export your data, withdraw your own content and request deletion, but you cannot publish, comment, vote, report, upload or bookmark.
- After termination. Content you withdrew or deleted is no longer displayed. The licence in Your content continues to cover remixes other members published while your content was public, which keep their attribution and their link to the original where it still exists.
Service provided as is
PromptByte is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of PromptByte or of any prompt or output found on it.
Operator must confirm: this section is generic product language and must be reviewed by the operator's legal adviser before launch.
Changes to these terms
The operator may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when it does, and material changes are announced on this page. Continuing to use PromptByte after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and, if you have an account, delete it from Settings.
